Our staff will work with you to clean out and organize before the sale.
We handle all aspects of the sale including pricing, advertising,
signage and cataloging. We will also remove all remaining items after
the sale to ensure the client is left with a “broom clean” home. We
are certified in USPAP (Uniform Standards for Professional Appraisal
Practice) and can walk you through the often confusing and complex task
of obtaining reputable and complete appraisals on your high value items.
We take the time to market the sale through a combination of direct
mail, web presence and advertising in specific local and trade magazines
to attract buyers. Pre-sale pictures and descriptions are posted on our
website. We focus on marketing your items to appeal to clients and to
make their buying experience easy and enjoyable. All items are priced,
and where appropriate, extra information is provided (such as furniture
dimensions, item descriptors and other pertinent details to assist with
the sale). Parking and signage is planned for easy passage to your sale
and local laws are researched to ensure compliance and minimal
disruption to your neighbors.
After the sale, we will empty the remaining contents of the house based
on the agreement with the client. This can include moving items to a 3rd
party broker, charitable donation or removal. Clients are provided with
a detailed and itemized list of property with the sale price and/or fair
market value price.
